Lounge 1888 is a sexy, stand alone, elevated sports bar and speakeasy located within the secure Plaza just outside the actual Intuit Dome. Not inside. Not a concession. A destination all its own. High energy, late night allure, premium cocktails, craveable food, and a hidden speakeasy vibe that turns game days, concerts, global events, and every major activation at the Dome into an unforgettable experience. The cocktail program is being created by a renowned cocktail guru responsible for building some of the most iconic bar programs in Las Vegas' biggest venues.
We are now hiring a Restaurant Bar Manager to oversee daily bar operations, protect service standards, and lead one of the most visible bar programs in the region. This is an hourly leadership role focused on execution, training, and guest experience at the bar level.
Compensation
Hourly rate starting at 25.00 per hour with additional earning potential through tips based on volume and performance. This is a hands on, floor leading bar role focused on execution, training, and guest experience. The Bar Manager works side by side with the team on the floor and does not handle hiring, firing, wage decisions, or tip distribution.

The Bar Manager is a key hospitality and operational leader responsible for maintaining standards of professionalism, guest experience, and bar excellence while overseeing all day to day bar operations in a fast paced, high volume environment. This role focuses on hands on leadership, execution, and service alongside the bar team.
Position Overview
The Restaurant Bar Manager oversees all aspects of bar operations ensuring exceptional guest service, compliance with California alcohol regulations, and strong operational performance. This role includes daily shift leadership, training, inventory coordination, and maintaining a safe, polished, and welcoming environment. The Bar Manager also supports community and civic engagement through positive interaction with local organizations, neighbors, and city partners as part of Lounge 1888's presence in Inglewood.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
Manage daily bar operations including opening, closing, and full shift oversight
Execute bar policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance
Partner with the management team to monitor sales, labor usage, and inventory in alignment with financial goals
Collaborate with kitchen and leadership teams to align beverage execution with food menu offerings
Ensure consistent completion of all prep, stocking, and service standards
Staff Leadership and Training
Train bartenders and bar support staff on cocktail standards, beverage execution, and service protocols
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance support
Foster a positive, accountable, and professional bar culture
Ensure adherence to all company policies and standards
Guest Experience
Ensure exceptional guest service and a safe, enjoyable bar environment
Handle guest concerns and service recovery with professionalism and composure
Promote specials, events, and signature cocktails to enhance the guest experience and drive sales
Inventory and Purchasing
Track inventory levels, place supply orders, and support vendor relationships
Control beverage costs to maximize profitability and minimize waste
Ensure proper storage, labeling, dating, and rotation of all beverage products
Regulatory Compliance and Safety
Ensure strict compliance with California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations
Maintain health and safety standards including sanitation and workplace safety
Ensure responsible alcohol service and prevention of over service
Reporting and Administration
Support bar performance strategies that drive revenue and operational efficiency
Monitor guest reviews and address service or product concerns proactively and professionally
Communicate regularly with the General Manager regarding bar performance and needs
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor degree in hospitality or related field preferred
Minimum three to five years in a bar management or bar supervisory role in a restaurant, lounge, or high volume bar environment
High volume and event driven experience strongly preferred
TIPS or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification preferred
Strong familiarity with California ABC laws required
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
Solid understanding of inventory systems and cost control
Excellent communication and guest service skills
Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in high pressure environments
Working Conditions
Fast paced, high volume restaurant and bar environment
Extended standing, lifting, and repetitive motion required
Night, weekend, holiday, and major event availability required
Must thrive during surge volume tied to concerts, games, and major activations at the Intuit Dome
