Position: Maintenance Electrician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical maintenance and repair, as well as a strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment. This role will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues

• Install and maintain new electrical systems and equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems

• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding maintenance and repair work

• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical technology

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Completion of an apprenticeship program or technical training in electrical maintenance

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call as needed

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, with a standard work week of 40 hours. The Maintenance Electrician may be required to work evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed. The role may involve working in a variety of settings, including industrial plants, commercial buildings, and maritime vessels. The Maintenance Electrician must be able to work in physically demanding environments and be comfortable working at heights.
