Your Role and Impact
Reporting to the Director of IT, the Website Manager acts as the Product Owner for MRCOOL's web platform, defining the strategic vision and leading its execution. You will be the central link between business objectives and technical implementation, working within a dedicated Agile team to drive traffic, conversion, and user experience. Your primary impact will be measured by your ability to translate marketing goals into a prioritized backlog, then collaborate directly with your Scrum Lead, UI/UX Designer, QA/CI Engineer, and Developers to deliver high-quality, scalable features and optimizations using our modern stack (Vercel, , Strapi)..
Strategic & Technical Leadership:
- Develop and execute the strategic vision and long-term roadmap for the company's website, with a strong focus on UI and technical on-page SEO best practices.
- Synthesize data from multiple sources (including GA4 and paid social platforms) to inform the web strategy, prioritize initiatives, and demonstrate ROI.
- Provide expert guidance and hands-on technical leadership across the Vercel, MySQL, React, Vue, PHP, and Strapi ecosystems, ensuring the platform is optimized for search engines.
- Lead technical initiatives, including site architecture, internal linking, site speed, Core Web Vitals, observability tools, and mobile-friendliness.
- Stay current with evolving search engine algorithms and industry trends to ensure the website maintains a competitive edge in organic search.
Team & Project Management:
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional team, including frontend, backend, and UX/UI developers and designers, ensuring all web projects are executed with SEO and mobile as core considerations.
- Translate business objectives into technical requirements, serve as the central point of contact for website requests, and ensure SEO is integrated into every stage of project development.
- Manage the project pipeline effectively using Agile and Scrum methodology, ensuring all web initiatives from new feature development to content updates are delivered on time and with a focus on maximizing organic traffic.
Performance & Operations:
- Utilize analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, social platform pixels from TikTok, Facebook, etc.) to track, analyze, and report on website performance and marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Make data-driven decisions and recommendations for continuous improvement by synthesizing SEO performance, user behavior analytics, and marketing conversion data.
- Establish and enforce operational procedures for code quality, deployment, and site maintenance.
- Work with the team to enhance the current CI/CD pipeline tools for optimal performance and shorter deployment times.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of experience in web-related fields such as Web Design, Digital Media, or Computer Science.
- 7+ years of experience developing, designing, administering, and implementing websites.
- Strong project management, Agile/Scrum, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience making data-driven decisions using web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics 4) and social media analytics.
- Proven management and interpersonal skills.
- Scripting languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, PHP, ASP, PERL, CGI, DHTML, AJAX.
- Exceptional technical skills in computer applications for web production, image handling, publishing and design, illustration, presentation preparation, motion graphics, web interaction, and/or other state-of-the-art web communication capabilities.
