Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and systems, including hydraulics, sensors, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Conduct calibration and alignment of precision measuring instruments to ensure machinery operates within specified tolerances.
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system documentation such as AutoCAD drawings and vision inspection system layouts.
  • Diagnose electrical issues involving low voltage, high voltage, and distributed control systems (DCS), utilizing tools like ohmmeters and multimeters.
  • Maintain mechanical components by performing routine inspections, replacements, and adjustments to prevent downtime.
  • Support manufacturing processes by servicing CNC machines, calibrating sensors, and ensuring optimal operation of automation equipment.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional customer service, offering technical guidance and training when necessary.
  • Document all service activities thoroughly in reports and logs; communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding system status or issues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols related to high voltage systems, electrical work, and industrial maintenance standards.
  • Assist in the development of maintenance schedules for complex machinery using industry best practices.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and industrial electrical components.
  • Proven experience with industrial electrician tasks, including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and control panel diagnostics.
  • Strong understanding of E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) principles within manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with schematics reading, AutoCAD drawings, and vision inspection system layouts.
  • Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and calibration tools to ensure accuracy.
  • Experience working with sensors, low voltage systems, high voltage safety procedures, and distributed control systems (DCS).
  • Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), including programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of calibration techniques for industrial instruments; experience with Calypso software is a plus.
  • Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical documentation for effective repairs or installations.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge applicable to manufacturing equipment maintenance including CNC machinery.
  • Experience supporting field service operations in diverse environments; military background is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with vision inspection systems for quality assurance processes.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD for system design or modifications is desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills combined with clear communication abilities for on-site interactions. Pay: $100, $170,000.00 per year
