POSITION SUMMARY:

As our Assistant Store Manager, you will be the back-up for day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that every customer receives a superior experience while upholding all Coughing Cardinal USA, LLC rules and company policies. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our team and store.

  • Lead with Excellence: Deliver a top-notch customer experience, ensuring every interaction is positive and professional.
  • Manage Inventory: Oversee inventory to guarantee compliance and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Train and Develop: Manage, train, and support staff, providing ongoing education and feedback to foster growth and adherence to company standards.
  • General Operations: Conduct daily cash handling, maintain accurate records, and manage staff schedules. Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain clear and open lines of communication with all levels of staff and management, and lead staff meetings to keep everyone informed and engaged.
  • Solving Problems: Troubleshoot and resolve store issues, from technical glitches to customer concerns, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Foster Team Spirit: Create a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating your team and promoting a culture of excellence.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Proven Leadership: 1+ years' experience on a retail team.
  • Product Knowledge: Product knowledge across 60% of shop product lines.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized individual with excellent multitasking abilities, ensuring all store operations run smoothly.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communicator who is positive, approachable, and able to manage diverse situations with ease.
  • Integrity: Must be twenty-one (21) or older, pass a background check, and have an insurable driving record.
  • Drive sales and profitability through customer satisfaction in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Display strong merchandise throughout the store and execute plan-o-grams.
  • Ensure merchandise is properly priced, displayed, and stocked according to inventory levels appropriate for each individual store.
  • Ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the store and maintain a working knowledge of products and services.
  • Ensure all employees provide outstanding customer service.
  • Be familiar with and enforce all company policies and the employee handbook.
  • Oversee the implementation of special promotions and advertising events.
  • Maintain effective communication between the store and all support departments through reporting, in-person meetings and virtual meetings as needed.
  • Ensure the store is following OSHA requirements and all safety procedures to include anything in the store that may be a hazard to employees or customers.
  • Promptly manage any escalated customer complaints, questions, or concerns in a professional and friendly manner
  • Additional duties, as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1+ years of retail experience; preferably in the vape/smoke shop industry.
  • Flexibility to work and open the store as needed.
  • Proven skills in business analysis, with the ability to execute company standards, goals, and financial plans successfully.
  • Experience producing results, managing, and developing employees, and succeeding in a retail environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a meticulous manner.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and leadership skills for effective problem solving.
  • Initiative-taking leader, capable of motivating others to achieve company goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills in-person and over the phone
  • Must possess strong work ethic and people skills and be highly organized, able to multi-task and be meticulous in a demanding environment.
