Citadel Credit Union is seeking a Relationship Manager to lead business development efforts within our Select Employee Group (SEG) and Community channels. As a Segment Relationship Manager, you'll focus on three key types of Select Employee Group clients
- Occupational Groups
- Organizations where employees share a common workplace or profession. These may include companies in industries such as manufacturing, retail, technology, logistics, and professional services. - *Associational Groups
- Members of recognized associations or organizations with a shared interest or purpose. Examples include educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and trade groups.*
- Community-Based Organizations
- Local entities that serve specific geographic areas or populations. These can include healthcare providers, municipal agencies, and regional service organizations.
You'll be the face of Citadel in the field, identifying and cultivating relationships with these organizations and more. Your work will directly impact membership growth, deepen community ties, and promote financial wellness across the region—all while ensuring every member's experience reflects Citadel's commitment to trust, service, and financial empowerment.
What You'll Do:
- Drive SEG Growth: Identify and onboard new SEG partners through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
- Build Relationships: Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned SEGs, ensuring trust and long-term engagement.
- Deliver Value: Provide tailored financial education, product solutions, and support to SEG employees.
- Engage in the Field: Conduct regular site visits, host events, and represent Citadel at community functions.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with marketing, lending, and other departments to deliver seamless member experiences.
- Track Success: Use CRM tools to monitor SEG engagement, membership growth, and campaign effectiveness.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to all relevant regulations and internal policies.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in business development, sales, or relationship management
- Strong understanding of credit unions and SEG dynamics
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with a passion for community impact
- Integrity, accountability, and resilience under pressure

The employee is occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend. The employee will be regularly required to walk and move fluidly within a Retail Office or Corporate Office environment. The employee must occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. The position requires close visual acuity. Community events can occur in a variety of locations including indoors, outside, or at local employers who partner with Citadel. There is infrequent travel, unless otherwise noted.
