POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Project Manager with administrative duties specific to the individual projects. Duties include planning and preparing site specific material and equipment, collecting data from field personnel, tracking the closeout progress, submitting high quality project closeouts to the customers, and meeting high-priority deadlines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude that reflects Heartland Solutions Corp's mission and standards
- Comply with all company standards, policies, and procedures
- Research initial pricing for material and service vendors.
- Source equipment and material from vendors.
- Work with Construction Manager & Project Manager for order/delivery of materials, construction tools and equipment
- Point of contact for all needs in regard to the closeout process.
- Responsible for all private and public locates.
- Responsible for supporting office and field personnel in the work flow of the project by providing them with the documents and supplies needed.
- Responsible for file management, document control, and document uploading for site projects which may include: site contract documents, project reports, project trackers, site binders, and closeout data for all projects.
- Locate, and compile project information and data for the closeout, such as: completed site binder, test reports for jobs, and other job-related information.
- Uses various software applications such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.
- Responsible for the final stages of the project which includes notifying the Project Manager once site is closeout complete.
- Must be able to work efficiently, and effectively in a fast-paced environment, meet high priority deadlines, detailed oriented, and must be punctual.
- May perform other tasks and duties as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS)- High School Diploma or GED (Two years college or equivalent work experience preferred)
- Must have 3-5 years of experience as project coordinator in a related field (experience in telecommunications industry is preferred)
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Customer service experience of at least one year (additional education may be substituted for years of work experience)
- Entry-level knowledge of Microsoft Photo Editor, Adobe Acrobat, various cloud-based project management tools
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- The following experience is desired but not required:
- Knowledge of the Telecommunication industry
- Experience in document & file management, control, uploading into a database
- Comprehension of construction documents
- The ability to communicate information and ideas verbally & in writing so others will understand
- The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented by others
- The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong and then correcting it before it happens
- The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
- The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
