Duties

• Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, tarts, and confections with precision and creativity.
• Decorate desserts using advanced decorating techniques to ensure visual appeal.
• Handle food production tasks including mixing, baking, assembling, and finishing baked goods.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all stages of food handling and preparation.
• Assist in kitchen organization, inventory management, and ingredient sourcing to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure all food preparation meets quality standards and customer expectations.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
• 1-2 years of experience in food production within a bakery, restaurant, or catering environment preferred.
• Proficiency in baking techniques, knife skills, and culinary arts related to pastries helpful.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer interaction.
• Knowledge of the food industry standards for quality control and safety compliance.
• Culinary school experience preferred.
