Position Summary:
Amrit Ocean Resort is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Sous Chef to support and elevate our culinary program. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional dining experiences across our food & beverage outlets, including fine dining, wellness cuisine, and high-end banqueting.

• Experience with Mediterranean cuisine is a must.
• At least 2-year experience with luxury setting/upscale fine dining is required.
• Pizza making experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations, including staffing, inventory, and menu execution.

• Lead, mentor, and train a diverse culinary team to maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop innovative menus aligned with our wellness philosophy and seasonal ingredients.

• Oversee food preparation to ensure consistency, safety, and compliance with sanitation regulations.

• Maintain food cost controls and assist in budgeting and forecasting.

• Contribute to a positive team environment and promote a culture of excellence and accountability.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of progressive kitchen leadership experience.

• Formal culinary training or degree preferred.

• Experience with wellness cuisine and dietary-specific offerings is a strong plus.

• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with attention to detail.
