The Industrial Maintenance Technician will assist with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment across the facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical and electrical work in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production, processing, and packaging equipment.

  • Assist with equipment disassembly, assembly, and general mechanical tasks.

  • Diagnose issues on motors, pumps, industrial bearings, hydraulics, lubrication systems, and electrical components.

  • Read and interpret schematics, prints, and technical documentation.

  • Conduct daily equipment startup and monitor gauges, instrumentation, and system performance.

  • Inspect equipment to identify potential issues before failures occur.

  • Maintain an organized, clean maintenance shop and workspace.

  • Perform routine facility repairs as needed.

  • Follow all safety, sanitation, QA, and facility policies.

  • Maintain reliable and punctual attendance.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.

  • 6 months+ industrial maintenance experience preferred (or equivalent training/education).

  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance procedures, safety documents, and equipment manuals.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to write basic reports and collaborate with teams.

  • Comfortable working with measurements, basic algebra, geometry, and troubleshooting logic.

  • Ability to interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and schematics.

  • Preferred: SACA certification(s).
