Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong Data Engineering knowledge and a proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures. You will play a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling data driven decision making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to support data ingestion and transformation.

• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high quality data solutions.

•Implement data models and architectures that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

•Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to ensure high performance and scalability.

• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, ensuring data quality and integrity.

• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and big data technologies.

•Document data engineering processes, architectures, and workflows for knowledge sharing and compliance.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Data Engineering principles and practices.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

• Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).

• Hands on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica).

• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).

• Solid understanding of SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases).

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.

Preferred Skills:

•Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.

•Experience with machine learning and data science concepts.

•Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

•Understanding of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

•Experience in Agile methodologies and project management.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 10 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related role.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
