Residential Electrician Operations Manager

Perfect Catch Electric is rapidly expanding, and we're seeking a highly experienced Field Operations Supervisor to lead and develop our residential electrical division. This role is built for a senior electrician with strong leadership experience who can manage technicians, oversee installs, control job quality, and support company growth through operational leadership and estimating support.

This is a hybrid position: roughly 75% field and 25% operations/management.

About the Role

You will ensure our install and service technicians are prepared, efficient, and performing top-tier work every day. You'll oversee daily job readiness, coordinate installations, mentor technicians, assist with complex electrical tasks, and help maintain smooth communication between the field and office.

In addition, you will support our estimating process by generating field-driven scope details, pricing, and recommendations based on real jobsite conditions.

Key Responsibilities Daily Technician & Job Management

• Meet technicians each morning to review daily operations, schedule, job notes, and expectations.
• Ensure techs have all necessary materials, tools, job details, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate installation sequences to maximize efficiency and reduce callbacks.

Field Supervision & Quality Control

• Visit multiple job sites daily to review progress, confirm code compliance, and ensure installations match Perfect Catch standards.
• Walk techs through proper installation steps and correct work on the spot when needed.
• Provide on-site training and performance development for all field personnel.
• Assist with electrical work when schedule demands require it.

Job Closeout & Operational Oversight

• Review completed jobs in ServiceTitan, ensuring accurate closeout, paperwork, job costing, and billing.
• Coordinate with the office for scheduling, material procurement, and inspections.
• Respond to urgent service calls, customer concerns, and small sales opportunities.

Estimating Responsibilities

• Perform on-site assessments to gather accurate scope details for service upgrades, panel work, trenching, rewires, EV chargers, sub-panels, generator circuits, and specialty electrical installations.
• Create or support the creation of estimates in ServiceTitan, ensuring all labor, materials, code requirements, and special conditions are included.
• Work closely with the office team to refine job scopes and verify pricing accuracy.
• Provide field-driven recommendations to improve estimate accuracy, reduce cost overruns, and strengthen job profitability.
• Assist in developing standard pricing templates, installation standards, and estimate checklists for common residential electrical projects.
• Review sold estimates with technicians to ensure they understand the scope, material needs, and expected installation process.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of residential electrical experience
• 2+ years in a supervisor, foreman, or field management role
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, service upgrades, load calculations, and troubleshooting
• Proficient with ServiceTitan (dispatch, job management, estimating, closeout, notes, billing)
• Strong computer, tablet, and digital communication skills
• Ability to train, lead, and develop field technicians
• Professional communication and customer interaction skills
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR
