RTD is currently seeking experienced Drivers with a Class A CDL that can operate a semi with a lowboy, one-ton trucks with gooseneck trailers, standard dump trucks and dump trailers.

Driver Requirements:

• Must have a valid and clean Class A Commercial Driver's License and current Medical Certification.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of provable relevant experience.
• Must have experience with hauling different types of construction equipment and materials and know how to properly and safely secure loads.
• Must have the ability to stand, kneel, walk, lift, bend, stoop, push, pull and work in varying weather conditions, often extreme heat.
• Must have a willingness to perform manual tasks such as: Assisting with equipment and vehicle maintenance, loading/unloading of equipment and materials, operate forklift, and other tasks as needed.
• Must be willing to comply with all DOT compliance regulations including hours of service rules, performing pre/post-trip inspections with appropriate documentation, maintaining a current medical card, safety screening and Federally regulated drug testing.
• Have a strong commitment to safety practices and strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is preferred.
• A willingness to work overtime, which sometimes includes nights and weekends, during emergency jobs is preferred.
