IT Support Specialist

• Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues
• Receive IT assets and maintain the IT Asset Management system
• Manage user roles and permissions across systems
• Maintain a centralized repository of web-based tools and applications
• Meet regularly with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) to review cases, identify recurring issues, and refine configurations
• Assist with updates and testing of Business Continuity Plan (BCP), Incident Response Plan (IRP), and Disaster Recovery Plan (DCP)
• Write and update systems technical documentation in knowledge base
• Track legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, ISO27001)
• Identify, assess, and mitigate cyber threats
• Oversee change management processes and maintain a register of IT changes and their cybersecurity impacts
• Support adherence to the NIST framework and assist with internal/external audits
• Assess cyber risk of key suppliers using NIST-based evaluations
• Help monitor security clauses in vendor contracts
• Manage physical security across company locations (alarm codes, keys, fobs)
• Project a favorable image of the company to promote, foster, and enhance public recognition of the company and its products and services
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
  
• Familiarity with ERP systems, Active Directory, and SaaS platforms.
  
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO27001).
  
• Preferred: Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or similar.
