A fulfilling and lucrative opportunity awaits an enthusiastic and motivated Interior Design Professional to join a highly-respected furniture manufacturer that has been that has become a fixture in Arizona over the last 30+ years. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Designer with Feathers Fine Custom Furnishings, you will bring creativity, expertise, and precision to every client engagement. You will independently design for both high-end residential and commercial clients, adapting seamlessly to a wide spectrum of styles, from Transitional and Traditional to Modern and Contemporary. Each project begins with a thoughtful evaluation of the architecture, environment, and lifestyle of the client to establish clear design objectives.

You will guide clients through the creative journey, meeting with them in our showroom and on site, and using tools such as floor plans, computer-aided design, sketches, and visual presentations to bring their vision to life. From concept through delivery, you will lead and manage multiple projects of varying scope, ensuring timely execution and an exceptional experience at every stage. Close collaboration with our production team will be essential to exceed expectations and achieve flawless results.

Beyond project execution, you will play an active role in cultivating relationships and expanding our presence in the community. Leveraging your design expertise, initiative, and creativity, you will develop sales opportunities, grow your client base, and ensure that each interaction reflects our commitment to superior customer satisfaction.

As part of your professional growth, you will continuously deepen your knowledge of design trends, craftsmanship, and product offerings, including both Feathers-designed collections and our curated partner brands. This commitment to excellence ensures that every client experience reflects the artistry, quality, and sophistication that define Feathers Fine Custom Furnishings.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years design experience within a design firm or high-end custom furniture or luxury retail furniture required
• Professional portfolio required
• Hands-on interior installation experience preferred
• Strong artistic skills, including hand rendering and sketching capabilities preferred
• Results-driven with proven ability to motivate, influence and inspire a team
• Commitment to Quality with exceptional attention to detail
• Current with local and global design industry trends
• Successful project management preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work in a high paced environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to travel locally to customer sites
• This is an on-site role at our luxury showroom in Scottsdale
• Ability to lift and move small to medium items, up to 25 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
• Ability to maneuver effectively around showroom floor and manufacturing facility

Pay: $100, $500,000.00 per year
