Job Description:

As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire culinary operation, from menu development and food preparation to kitchen staff management. Your passion for culinary excellence and commitment to maintaining our high standards will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership: Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and guidance to all restaurant staff, fostering a positive and cohesive team environment.
  2. Menu Development: Collaborate with the Regional culinary team to create and update menus, ensuring they align with the restaurant's concept and meet guest expectations.
  3. Food Quality: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. Ensure consistency in every dish served.
  4. Kitchen Operations: Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering, and kitchen sanitation. Implement efficient kitchen processes to optimize productivity.
  5. Staff Management: Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment. Recruit, train, and schedule kitchen personnel as needed.
  6. Cost Control: Monitor food costs, portion control, and waste reduction strategies to maximize profitability.
  7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards and protocols.
  8. Collaboration: Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and dining areas, delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a full service restaurant, preferably with a focus on seafood or steakhouse cuisine.
  • Strong culinary expertise and creativity, with a passion for delivering exceptional dishes.
  • Leadership and management skills to effectively lead and inspire kitchen staff.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
