Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Unarmed Guard to oversee premises during overnight shifts. This role is essential in maintaining a secure environment, preventing loss, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property. The ideal candidate will possess strong observation skills, conflict management abilities, and relevant security experience. Prior knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV, will be highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to safety operations in a professional setting while working overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security cameras and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security protocols are followed
• Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, assessing situations with calmness and professionalism
• Enforce access control procedures, verifying identities and authorizations of personnel entering the facility
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in reports
• Assist with conflict management by de-escalating tense situations effectively
• Provide first aid or CPR if necessary, following established emergency procedures
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized access or theft
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required

Experience

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred
• Knowledge of CCTV operation, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention strategies is advantageous
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain composed under pressure
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with security protocols and emergency response procedures
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
