Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work with patients of varying ages, primarily focusing on pediatrics, to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing communication skills and improving the quality of life for your patients.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities in patients.
  • Administer standardized tests and informal assessments.
  • Assess speech sound production, expressive/receptive language, social communication, fluency, voice, and early communication skills.
  • Develop individualized Care Plan treatment tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills, including articulation, fluency, and language comprehension.
  • Collaborate with parents.
  • Provide early intervention services for children with speech and language delays.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay updated on best practices in speech therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Interpret results and determine eligibility or need for therapy.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
  • Experience or knowledge in early intervention strategies is preferred.
  • Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and treatment planning.
  • Experience working in school settings is a plus, particularly with pediatric populations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in speech therapy techniques and methodologies
  • Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and support.

Job Type: Full time or Part Time

Pay: $60.00 Per Hour

Expected hours: Flexible Scheduled
