CDL Delivery Driver

Position Overview

JNB Food Service is seeking a reliable and hardworking CDL Truck Driver to join our delivery team. The driver will be responsible for safely transporting fresh produce, dry goods, and other food products to restaurants, markets, and retail clients across the region. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and a commitment to on-time, accurate deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Route Deliveries: Safely operate company trucks to deliver products to customers on scheduled routes. Driver will regularly go to Virginia and North Carolina for deliveries.
• Loading & Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading pallets, cases, and individual boxes, ensuring all items match the delivery manifest.
• Accuracy & Documentation: Verify order accuracy before departure and upon delivery; collect signatures and document completed deliveries.
• Customer Service: Provide friendly, professional service at every delivery location, representing JNB Food Service with reliability and respect.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle inspections, report maintenance issues, and keep trucks clean and organized.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all DOT, company, and warehouse safety procedures. Adhere to traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
• Team Coordination: Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and management about delays, issues, or changes in routes.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Class A or B CDL
• Prior experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Excellent time management and reliability.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of local and regional routes a plus.

Working Conditions

• Primarily on the road with occasional warehouse duties.
• Moderate physical activity, including lifting and moving inventory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50, $60,000.00 per year
