iOS Developer

Summary

We are looking for an iOS developer who can also lead the frontend and UX for our consumer app. You will design and build the full interface for a voice-first AI social network in Swift and translate your designs into a polished product. You will partner closely with two highly accomplished backend engineers who are building the core AI and data infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong mobile UI design experience, familiarity with voice-based interaction, comfort designing social features, and an eye for aesthetics that resonate with Gen Z.

Deliverables

• Full iOS app design in Figma including flows, screens, components, and interaction specs
• Frontend implementation of the app in Swift
• Integration with backend APIs and voice features
• Regular iterations based on user feedback and internal testing
• A production-ready build with smooth animations, strong performance, and responsive layouts for the App Store

Role Description

This is a remote contract role. You will design, develop, and maintain the iOS application from the frontend side. You will collaborate with cross-functional teammates to define features and requirements, ensure strong performance and responsiveness, and refine the product through testing. You will troubleshoot issues, debug performance problems, and implement solutions that align with design and technical expectations. The goal is to deliver a high quality mobile experience that feels simple, intuitive, and delightful.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in iOS development with experience shipping Swift or Flutter apps
• Experience in mobile app development and building polished consumer interfaces
• Strong design skills with the ability to create clean, modern UI
• Familiarity with iOS best practices and mobile design guidelines
• Experience designing or developing voice interactions or social features is a plus
• Strong coding, testing, and debugging abilities
• Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience in an agile environment is helpful
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required
