Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess extensive culinary expertise, strong leadership abilities, and proven experience in managing high-volume food operations. This role involves overseeing all aspects of kitchen management, menu development, food safety compliance, and team supervision to ensure the highest standards of quality and service.

Duties

  • Develop and curate innovative menus aligned with the restaurant's concept, including fine dining and catering options.
  • Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Manage inventory control, procurement, and cost management to optimize food production and minimize waste.
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control across all service areas.
  • Lead, train, and motivate culinary staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellence.
  • Coordinate shift management, scheduling staff, and ensuring proper coverage during peak hours.
  • Oversee dietary department activities as needed, including special dietary requests and nutritional considerations.
  • Maintain compliance with health regulations and safety protocols related to food handling and kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with management on menu planning, pricing strategies, and promotional events such as banquets and catering services.
  • Ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and kitchen teams to deliver outstanding food service experiences.

Skills

  • Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining, catering, and restaurant management.
  • Proven supervising experience with team management skills that inspire performance and accountability.
  • Knowledge of banquet operations, dietary requirements, and food production processes.
  • Expertise in inventory management, inventory control, and cost control strategies.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage shifts effectively while maintaining high standards of food quality.
  • Excellent skills in food safety practices, kitchen management, menu planning, and food handling procedures.
  • Experience in hospitality settings with a focus on food service management and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to oversee multiple facets of restaurant or catering operations including food preparation, bartending (if applicable), and overall food industry standards. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50, $60,000.00 per year
