About The Role

• Meet and work with business, engineering, CAD, marketing, and manufacturing leaders to discuss projects.
• Gather necessary information and requirements from business leaders to complete a project. Develop and maintain project scopes, reports, and updates.
• Assist Technologies Manager and Director of Business Applications in organizing, reporting, and presenting project progress.
• Develop and create software ranging from desktop to web-based depending on requirements.
• Maintain and continually upgrade existing software created by you or other team members.
• Perform engineering calculations and provide technical support during project development.
• Research and understand the technical aspects of the construction products industry in relation to internal and external customer needs and outlook.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and materials relative to our business.
• Research adjacent markets for product and technology opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the full cycle of product development and design to successfully bring products to market.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5-years applicable work experience.
• Technical degree in IT, Computer Science or related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred. An equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Proficiency in C#, SQL, JavaScript, API integration, and Front end UI development is required.
• RAD and active UAT deployment experience, experience in the development and expansion of QPS.
• Preferred technical skills include familiarity with Azure, Git, , WPF, Winforms, HTML, CSS, Python, and AutoCAD/Fusion 360/Inventor/Solid Works.
• Must be hands-on, highly motivated, and energetic.
• Must possess demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to take ownership of product development projects and lead projects to successful completion - Full-stack development.
• Must have the ability to prioritize and manage several projects and maintain critical project timelines.
• A high level of detail orientation, analytical skills, and problem-solving is necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Engineering experience and engineering project management skills are preferred.
• Experience in performing engineering design and analysis and the development of 3-D solid models utilizing Autodesk or similar software.
