Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic & Maintenance Technician to support maintenance activities across our manufacturing operations. This position reports to the Lead Mechanic and Director of Operations and plays a key role in ensuring our production equipment remains safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance. The role includes troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a broad range of equipment, including CNC machines, extrusion lines, nonwoven machinery, electrical systems, and various saws used for doweling and routing.

Compensation

• Overtime: May be required based on production needs
• Pay Rate: Based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on CNC equipment, extrusion lines, and nonwoven machinery
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Maintain and repair saws used for doweling, routing, and material processing
• Assist the Lead Mechanic with complex equipment rebuilds and upgrades
• Respond to machine breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime
• Perform electrical work within scope, including wiring, sensors, motors, and control panel components
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and follow established procedures
• Support installation, alignment, and testing of new equipment
• Collaborate with production supervisors to resolve recurring mechanical issues

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a mechanic, maintenance technician, or industrial maintenance professional in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of CNC equipment, extrusion systems, nonwoven machinery, or industrial automation (any combination is acceptable)
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems effectively
• Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyor systems, and general machine shop tools
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues independently
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
• Willingness to assist across departments based on operational needs
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in manufacturing areas that may be hot or cold
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
