Data Engineer

Job Summary – Data Engineer (Travel & Leisure Client, Orlando, FL)

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable data pipelines and engineering solutions.
• Develop and support both cloud and on-premise data infrastructure, including data warehouses and APIs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize data workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and ensure efficient data processing.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive continuous improvements in data processes.
• Integrate new data sources and maintain high data quality to support analytics initiatives.
• Utilize strong SQL skills and work with relational databases.
• Leverage proficiency in Python, Java/Scala, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Work with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake, and ETL tools such as Informatica, Airflow, and Kafka.
• Apply knowledge of .NET technologies (C#, VB.Net) and web application development when needed.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Thrive both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer & Information Science (Master's preferred), 3+ years in data engineering or IT.
