Location: (Williston VT)

We are currently looking for a professional and highly committed Armed Security Officer to join our team in Vermont. This rewarding role is essential for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and community.

Shift Requirement (Mandatory)

• Part-time: 1 day per week on Sundays only
• Sunday Shift is Required: This position requires a mandatory shift every Sunday, covering morning shift 8:00 AM through 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Access Control & Patrol: Monitor building access, check credentials, and conduct regular patrols (business and perimeter).
• Incident Response: Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, following site-specific protocols.
• Observation & Reporting: Detect, deter, and report suspicious activities, property damage, or safety hazards, patrol reporting.
• Community Presence: Maintain a visible, fully uniformed, and professional presence; interact courteously with all stakeholders.
• Crisis Management: Handle crises calmly and efficiently, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary.

Minimum Requirements

• Age: Be at least 21 years of age (standard for armed roles in Vermont).
• Experience/Education: High school diploma/equivalent OR 2 years of verifiable experience. Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience is strongly encouraged. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Licensing: Must possess or be able to obtain the required State of Vermont Armed Security Guard License and all necessary firearms certifications.
• Logistics: A valid driver's license and vehicle are required.
• Conditions: Must pass a background investigation and a drug screen (to the extent permitted by law).
• Physical: Ability to stand/walk/patrol for extended periods, work in various weather conditions, and occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
