Rate - $50/hr on W2 AND 60/hr on C2C

Job Description
- The IT Business Analyst acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, focusing on application support and enhancement for critical Oil & Gas systems.
- This role ensures smooth operations of enterprise applications, identifies improvement opportunities, and supports digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation-Collaborate with business units to capture functional and technical requirements for application support and enhancements.
- Application Support & Incident Management-Provide Level 2/3 support for enterprise applications (e.g., Pipeline Scheduler, SCADA, OSI PI, ETRM (Rightangle) systems). Troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and ensure timely resolution.
- Process Optimization & Automation-Identify inefficiencies in IT and OT workflows; propose automation using tools like Power Automate, UiPath, and Azure DevOps.
- Stakeholder Communication-Act as a bridge between operations teams, developers, and vendors to ensure alignment on application changes and upgrades.
- Testing & Deployment-Prepare test cases, coordinate UAT, and support deployment activities for application releases.
- Compliance & Security-Ensure adherence to Oil & Gas industry standards, cybersecurity protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of Oil & Gas operations and related IT/OT applications (SCADA, Pipeline Scheduler, Fuels Manager, GIS).
- Proficiency in ETRM platforms, and integration tools (Boomi, Power BI).
- Experience with incident management tools and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in Oil & Gas.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Certifications: CBAP, ITIL, or Agile credentials.
