Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home, community, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. This role involves working closely with individuals who may have developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's, or other health needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Duties

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and overall condition; report changes to healthcare professionals
  • Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary
  • Support patients with memory care needs such as dementia or Alzheimer's through specialized techniques
  • Operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers safely
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment through light cleaning and sanitation practices
  • Document patient progress and update care plans regularly in compliance with healthcare standards
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive environment
  • Follow all safety protocols including CPR, First Aid, and other relevant certifications

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or hospice care preferred
  • Knowledge of patient observation, monitoring vital signs, medication administration, and care planning
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or Alzheimer's is highly desirable
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus
  • Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks when necessary
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including days or evenings as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
