Project Estimator

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Site Work Project Estimator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, analyzing project plans, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project execution. Duties

• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents using tools such as Bluebeam.
• Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Utilize Insite software to prepare accurate bids aligned with project scope and client requirements.
• Conduct negotiations with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
• Assist in the development of project budgets and schedules, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates reflect current market conditions and project complexities.
• Monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle to maintain budget control and identify potential cost overruns early.
• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and present estimates to clients or internal review teams.
• Stay updated on industry trends, construction methods, and new estimating tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction processes and site conditions.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Insite, and other relevant estimating software.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
• Knowledge of contracts, project management principles, and cost control techniques within the construction industry.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate quantity takeoffs and pricing.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Construction site experience is highly desirable to better understand on-the-ground realities impacting estimates.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90, $120,000.00 per year
