Apprentice Plumber

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our team and gain hands-on experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to develop essential skills in construction plumbing, blueprint reading, and mechanical systems within a dynamic construction environment. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic to support various plumbing projects on commercial and residential sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in new construction, remodeling, and maintenance projects
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and install piping systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of plumbing components
• Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations
• Support in cutting, fitting, and assembling pipes using appropriate tools and techniques
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites
• Assist with remodeling projects and general maintenance tasks as needed
• Learn to troubleshoot plumbing issues using mechanical knowledge and field service techniques

Experience

• Construction site experience or hands-on work in construction plumbing preferred but not required
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading, welding, carpentry, HVAC systems, or maintenance person experience is a plus
• Basic understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and mechanical systems is advantageous
• Prior experience with remodeling or maintenance projects will be considered an asset
• Willingness to learn new skills related to plumbing installation and repair in a fast-paced environment
