Data Analyst

Job Summary (List Format)

• Position Titles: Sr. Data Analyst (5+ years), Lead Data Analyst (6+ years)
• Industry Requirement: Must have Mortgage Industry experience; previous Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae experience is a strong plus
• Interview Process: 2 Microsoft Teams video calls, followed by a final onsite interview
• Required Skills:
• Proficient in SQL for data profiling, validation, and analysis
• High-level understanding of ETL processes, Data Warehouse, and Data Mart concepts
• Knowledge of data management and governance best practices
• Experience with Freddie Mac's data systems or other Mortgage Industry data sources preferred
• Key Responsibilities:
• Gather, understand, and document data-related requirements from business stakeholders
• Perform data profiling to assess data quality, completeness, and consistency
• Translate business requirements into technical data specifications
• Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources to support business decisions
• Collaborate with ETL and Data Warehouse teams to validate data flows and transformations
• Conduct root-cause analysis on data issues and recommend solutions
• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Serve as liaison between business and IT teams for data project delivery
