Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in fine dining or nightclub settings. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing exceptional service, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders and offering recommendations based on their preferences
• Operate point-of-sale systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed and tracking usage
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests at the bar or dining area
• Handle cash transactions accurately, maintaining proper cash handling procedures
• Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet events or catering services as required

Skills

• Proficient in operating various POS systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations
• Experience in the food industry, particularly in bartending or restaurant roles
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales tracking
• Familiarity with brewing techniques and cocktail preparation methods
• Previous experience in banquet service or catering is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated
