Perform integration and test activities comprising field support for ongoing project activities. Perform field change modifications to existing designs, troubleshoot CBTC equipment for vehicle and wayside systems, and manage tasks related to test documentation and formal report preparation.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform on-site installation and maintenance of Non-CBTC and CBTC equipment for wayside systems.

  • Initiate work process procedures as per customer processes.

  • Identify problems detected during tests and implement required corrections.

  • Support troubleshooting and repair of CBTC equipment as necessary.

  • Support test Carborne and Wayside activities and plan field activities.

  • Provide technical support for operational issues related to the functionality of wayside subsystems.

  • Work collaboratively with diverse departments and participate in all phases of integration, commissioning, and support.

  • Promote customer relations and uphold company credibility.

  • Investigate and troubleshoot system anomalies by analyzing data files, design documentation, and collaborating with development departments.

  • Provide summaries and detailed accounts of test activities through informal and formal test reports.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply broad domain knowledge through completion of moderately complex assignments.

  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.

  • Fluency and comprehension in oral and written English.

  • Field experience in rail transit installation, testing, or support environments, or similar technology-driven applications.

  • Experience in support of field activities.

  • Strong process orientation and adherence to corporate and customer procedures.

  • Critical thinking ability with a focus on improving efficiencies and processes.

  • Effective communication skills to professionally engage with all levels within and outside the organization.

  • Flexibility to take on additional projects and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of automatic train control systems concepts and principles, with an understanding of current signaling standards.

  • Working knowledge of safety standards and practices required at project sites.

  • Experience in the installation and testing of train control systems.

  • Experience in customer interactions and adapting to their processes.

  • Familiarity with Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC) products in terms of installation support and testing.

  • Prior experience deploying fixed block signaling systems is an asset.

  • Typically, 1–2 years of successful experience in a similar field, demonstrating the required key responsibilities and knowledge.

Salary Range: $93, $114,536.36 /Year
