Location: In-person -Integrity Compounding Pharmacy, 8601 Dunwoody Place, Sandy Springs, GA 30350
Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with flexibility based on company needs
Salary Range: $115,000 – $130,000
ABOUT US:
Integrity Compounding Pharmacy is an industry leader in the compounding marketplace. We compound sterile, non-sterile, hazardous, and non-hazardous medications. On average, we fill 350 compounds per day and are actively working to increase that number. POSITION SUMMARY:
Here at Integrity, the Patient Services Department is responsible for handling patient and practitioner phone calls, processing prescriptions using pharmacy software, and serving as the communication liaison between doctors' offices, patients, and our Lab team.
Our Patient Services Department is currently divided into 3 teams: Clinical Specialist Team, Daily Essentials Team, and Data and Logistics Team.
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist Lead to join and manage our Daily Essentials Team. In this role, you will verify prescriptions, counsel patients and prescribers, work with a team of pharmacists, and oversee a team of pharmacy technicians. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our team provides outstanding customer service and the highest quality pharmaceutical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Management: Oversee and manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, providing direction, mentorship, and support. Ensure efficient and effective team operations. Provide constructive feedback and coaching as needed.
- Customer Service Excellence: Serve as a main point of contact for inquiries from patients and healthcare providers regarding our compounded medications while delivering superior customer service and accurate information. Foster positive relationships with current and prospective patients and doctors.
- Verification Efficiency and Accuracy: Accurately and efficiently verify prescriptions and input data while collaborating with the Lab team to ensure we serve our patients with safe, effective, and timely compounded medications.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all compounding practices and protocols are followed and adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure seamless service and support for patients and providers.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing.
- Experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred.
- Experience in a compounding pharmacy preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and supervising a team.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to patients and healthcare providers.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.
- Commitment to continuous education and staying updated on industry trends and advancements in compounding.
