CDL Shuttle Bus Driver

Job Summary
Windstar Lines is hiring professional CDL drivers to join our team for a long-term shuttle transportation project in Boise, Idaho. As a Shuttle Driver, you will play a vital role in providing safe and efficient transportation services. Your primary responsibility will be to transport passengers to their destinations while ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience. You will leverage your driving expertise and customer service skills to create a positive atmosphere for all riders. Join us in making every journey memorable

What you'll do

• Safely operate a 30-passenger transit buses on fixed shuttle routes around a construction site.
• Keep to scheduled routes and timelines with professionalism and precision.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with maintenance standards.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, passenger counts, and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while promoting a safe driving environment for passengers and other road users.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules, delays, or any issues that may arise during transit.
• Assist with paratransit services as needed, ensuring accessibility for all passengers.
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with passengers during their journey.

Schedule

• Full and Part-time positions available with 10 hour shifts and multiple shifts available to fit your schedule.
• Shuttle services run 6 days per week for 2 weeks, followed by a 5-day week rotation. Also available are 2-day, 3-day, and 4-day options.
• Day and Night shifts available Monday - Saturday.
• Occasional Sunday or holiday shifts my be required with advance notice.
• NEEDED: Part-time Weekend Position and a Part-time Friday/Saturday Position

5 Shifts Available both FT and PT.

1. AM Full-time - 4:15am - 12:15am (8 hours)

2. AM Part-time - 4:15am - 11:15am (7 hours)

3. PM Full-time - 10:45am - 6:45pm (8 hours)

4. PM Part-time - 11:45am - 6:45pm (8 hours)

5. Nights - 6:15pm - 4:45am (10.5 hours)

Qualifications

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing (DOT compliant).
