The Box Office Supervisor supports the daily ticketing and box office operations for PSQ Productions-managed events and venues, including Winter Fest OC and Great Park Live. Working under the direction of the Director of Ticketing & Group Sales, this role ensures smooth, accurate, and guest-focused on-site operations.
The Supervisor provides hands-on leadership to ticket sellers, scanners, and guest service representatives; assists with POS setup and troubleshooting; and upholds cash-handling, reporting, and customer-service standards across all ticketing and entry points.

Event & Box Office Operations
· Support daily box office setup and breakdown, including POS terminals, printers, scanners, and ticket stock.
· Supervise ticketing and scanning staff during active event hours, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and efficiency.
· Coordinate will-call, guest lists, ADA access, and credential distribution.
· Monitor and maintain line flow, providing real-time problem solving for entry or scanning issues.
· Ensure all box office and gate procedures follow PSQ's service and financial protocols.
Customer Service & Guest Experience
· Serve as on-site point of contact for ticketing and guest service inquiries.
· Resolve ticket or access issues in real time with professionalism and empathy.
· Communicate event policies clearly to guests and staff to maintain a positive experience.
· Support ADA and VIP guest processes, ensuring smooth arrival and entry.
Sales Reconciliation & Reporting
· Assist with end-of-day sales reconciliation, cash counts, and POS closeouts.
· Ensure all funds, receipts, and reports are accurately submitted to the Box Office Manager.
· Track comp tickets, exchanges, and refund activity per company policy.
Staff Leadership & Training
· Provide guidance and support to cashiers, ticket sellers, and scanners throughout shifts.
· Reinforce training on POS use, customer service standards, and cash-handling procedures.
· Communicate operational updates and relay key feedback to the Box Office Manager after each event.
System & Compliance Support
· Confirm that ticketing systems and devices are functioning correctly before gates open.
· Follow all SOPs regarding access control, refunds, chargebacks, and merchant processing.
· Maintain confidentiality and compliance with privacy and ticketing regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in ticketing, customer service, or guest services (live event or venue experience preferred).
· Experience with ticketing platforms or POS systems preferred (training provided if needed).
· Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
· Reliable, professional, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
· Ability to accurately manage cash handling and reconcile daily reports.
· Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended event hours.
· Ability to lift 15-20 lbs and perform duties in outdoor or variable weather environments.
