As our company continues to grow in the Greater Chattanooga market, we are seeking a motivated and highly qualified Technician or Lead Technician to join our team.

Position Summary

The Water Restoration Technician / Lead Technician is responsible for responding to water, mold, and other property damage losses, performing mitigation services, documenting work, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. This is a hands-on role with growth potential, ongoing training opportunities, and industry education provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and mitigation services according to IICRC standards
• Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment including dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA air scrubbers, etc.
• Conduct moisture inspections and document all findings accurately using company software
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through clear communication and a professional, personable demeanor
• Assist with mold remediation tasks such as containment, HEPA vacuuming, and antimicrobial application
• Take detailed before/after photos and write daily job notes
• Lead and supervise small crews (Lead Technician role)
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
• Respond to emergency after-hours calls on a rotating schedule
• Ensure all work follows safety, OSHA, and company guidelines

Qualifications

• Prior restoration experience strongly preferred
• IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT, etc.) a plus but not required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments (attics, crawlspaces, etc.)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record plus pass a drug screening and background check
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document work thoroughly
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn
• Fluency in Spanish is a strong plus
• Ability to lead, train, and mentor other team members for Lead Technician role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
