Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Vision Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in cabinet design software, manufacturing processes, and construction principles to develop precise, efficient, and innovative cabinetry solutions. Your technical proficiency will drive the seamless integration of design, fabrication, and installation processes, ensuring top-quality outcomes for our clients. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed cabinet designs using Cabinet Vision software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for custom cabinetry projects.
- Optimize manufacturing workflows by translating digital designs into precise fabrication instructions for CNC machines and other manufacturing equipment.
- Coordinate with fabrication teams to ensure seamless production of cabinet components, including framing, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing as needed.
- Oversee installation processes on-site, including fixture installation, door hanging, siding application, and cabinetry assembly.
- Conduct quality control inspections during fabrication and installation phases to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Stay current with industry trends in restoration techniques such as water damage restoration, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, and rebar installation to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and cabinetry design software such as Cabinet Vision or similar platforms.
- Strong background in carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, door hanging, and fixture installation.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, heavy lifting equipment, and other fabrication tools.
- Knowledge of construction site operations across various trades such as masonry, plumbing, electrical work, roofing, flooring installation (tile laying), remodeling, and drywall finishing.
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to construction painting, caulking, siding installation, roofing techniques (including concrete forming), and water damage restoration.
- Ability to read technical schematics for electrical systems or plumbing layouts; experience with schematic interpretation is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on precision in assembly processes like rebar installation or metal fabrication.
- Industry experience in restoration or remodeling projects is highly desirable; candidates with maintenance person experience or experience in the restoration industry will stand out.
