Armed Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Armed Security Guard to protect property, assets, and personnel at our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security protocols, conflict management, and emergency response. This role requires a high level of integrity, alertness, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations. Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security is highly valued. The Armed Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment through surveillance, patrols, and enforcement of security policies.

Duties

• Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular patrols to identify potential security threats
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies with appropriate action
• Enforce access control procedures by verifying identities and issuing visitor passes
• Conduct security checks of buildings, vehicles, and equipment to prevent theft or vandalism
• Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism and de-escalation techniques
• Provide first aid or CPR if required until emergency services arrive
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious activity and intervening when appropriate
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies

Skills

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields is preferred
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and alarm systems
• Strong conflict management and de-escalation skills
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively during emergencies or high-pressure situations
• First aid and CPR certification are highly desirable
• Excellent observation skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to handle stressful situations discreetly and professionally
• Strong communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
• Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond swiftly when needed

Pay: $ $26.04 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
