A Medium Voltage Business Development Manager drives sales growth for MV electrical products and services by developing sales strategies, identifying new market opportunities, building customer relationships with key accounts like Electrical Contractors and EPC firms, and collaborating with internal teams such as product marketing and sales. This position will cover Capital's entire footprint from Pennsylvania to Georgia.
Key responsibilities
- Sales and business development: Prospect and close new business opportunities with electrical contractors, industrial facilities, renewable energy developers, and utility companies.
- Customer relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers and key decision-makers.
- Technical expertise: Act as a subject matter expert for the company's product line, which includes MV switchgear, switchboards, transformers, circuit breakers, and other power distribution equipment.
- Solution selling: Perform cost-benefit analyses and technical needs assessments to provide customized, value-added solutions for clients.
