Job Title: Lead AWS Developer
Location: Coppell, TX ( Attend the office 3 days/week)
Duration: Long term
Please Note: This position requires very strong backend development skills with experience in AWS services such as Lambda ), API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
Candidates without Amazon Connect or Contact Center application experience but who have strong backend development skills and are available for an onsite coding test in Coppell, TX are also good to consider
Role Summary:
As a Technical Amazon Connect Developer or Amazon Developer, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of cloud-based contactcenter solutions using Amazon Connect and its ecosystem. You'll serve as a technical owner for voice architecture, IVR/contact flows, CTI integrations, and analytics, often collaborating with cross-functional teams including CRM, data, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Design
- Own the technical roadmap for Amazon Connect implementations.
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient contact center solutions.
- Lead migration from legacy platforms (e.g., Genesys, LivePerson) to Amazon Connect.
- Lead a scrum team of junior and senior developers
Development & Integration
- Build and maintain contact flows, Lex bots, routing strategies, and call recording/transcription.
- Integrate Amazon Connect with platforms like Salesforce, ServiceNow, and custom CRMs.
- Develop event-driven services using AWS Lambda, EventBridge, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.
- Implement GenAI-powered solutions using Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI, or LangChain.
- Willing to train a strong technical lead on Amazon Connect
Operations & Support
- Provide production support and participate in on-call rotations.
- Conduct root-cause analysis, post-mortems, and incident response.
- Establish observability with SLIs/SLOs, dashboards, and automated alerts.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor junior developers and guide cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with network/security teams to ensure QoS, IAM, and compliance.
- Deliver self-service reporting tools for operational leaders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 10+ years in telephony/contact center or strong AWS backend development.
- 3+ years hands-on with Amazon Connect is preferable.
- 3+ years hand on AWS backend development
- 2+ years with Salesforce Service Cloud Voice (preferred).
- Technical Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of Amazon Connect: contact flows, CTRs, Contact Lens, outbound, call recording (Preferred)
- Proficiency in AWS services: Lambda ), API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM.
- Experience with JWT, OAuth/SAML, REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with SIP, RTP, PSTN, QoS, and packet loss mitigation.
- Tools & Frameworks:
- Terraform, CloudFormation, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
- GenAI tools: Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI, LangChain.
- CRM integrations: Salesforce, ServiceNow.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor peers.
Preferred Certifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer.
- Salesforce certifications (Service Cloud, Omni-Channel).
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $ $75.35 per hour
