We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our organization's HR initiatives and foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace environment. Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive talent acquisition efforts by developing sourcing strategies, managing applicant tracking systems (ATS), conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees to ensure a seamless hiring process.
- Oversee employee orientation programs to introduce new hires to company policies, culture, and expectations effectively.
- Manage performance management processes through regular evaluations, feedback sessions, and development plans to foster continuous improvement.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, workers' compensation, and leave policies such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Ensure adherence to employment and labor laws by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations, wage laws, and other legal requirements.
- Supervise HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, Kronos, UltiPro, Taleo, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, Paylocity or similar systems for data collection, payroll processing, and reporting.
- Develop and implement organization design strategies to optimize workforce structure aligned with business goals.
- Lead conflict management initiatives by mediating disputes effectively while fostering a respectful work environment.
- Drive process improvement projects within HR functions to enhance efficiency and service quality across the organization.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning related to human capital management (HCM), succession planning, employee engagement initiatives, and organizational development.
- Manage employee relations by addressing grievances promptly and maintaining positive communication channels throughout the organization.
- Oversee training & development programs aimed at skill enhancement and leadership growth for employees at all levels.
- Conduct data analysis for HR metrics such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction scores, and workforce demographics to inform decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with contracts and legal requirements related to employment agreements and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supervising HR teams with a strong background in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration.
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law principles including FMLA regulations and OSHA standards.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills in managing employment contracts and resolving workplace conflicts effectively.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, ADP (Paychex), Kronos (UKG), UltiPro (Ultimate Software), Taleo (Oracle), SAP SuccessFactors or equivalent systems for data collection and payroll processing.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to design organizational structures that support strategic objectives.
- Excellent communication skills capable of presenting complex information clearly across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to lead change management initiatives confidently while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes related to HR programs and initiatives.
- Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards applicable to workplace safety practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field; advanced certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR are preferred.
