Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare and serve food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and providing correct change.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly suggestions.
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
• Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables or customers simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer service.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Culinary experience or background in the food industry enhances your ability to deliver quality service.
• Strong time management skills are essential to handle busy periods efficiently.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, restaurant math, and retail math are necessary for accurate transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is highly desirable.
• Experience with cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or working in grocery stores can be beneficial in this role.
