Day Time Security Guard

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Day Time Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the property, preventing theft or vandalism, and maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. This role requires a professional with strong observation skills, excellent conflict management abilities, and a commitment to safety protocols.

Schedule Monday to Thursday 8 am to 4:30 pm Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if certified.
• Enforce security policies and loss prevention measures to protect company assets.
• Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and observations during shifts.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents or investigations.
• Manage conflict situations professionally, de-escalating disputes when necessary.
• Conduct inspections of the premises to identify potential security vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, or related fields is preferred.
• Bilingual (English / Spanish)
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods outdoors in the elements and perform patrols during daytime hours.
• Must be reliable, professional, and committed to maintaining a safe environment at all times.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following established protocols.

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
