Job Title: Level 2 Desktop Engineer (Trade Support/Citrix and Virtualization)
Location: New York, NY Onsite)
Duration: Long Term

About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Level 2 Desktop Engineers with strong technical expertise in Citrix technologies, virtualization, networking, and trade floor support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience providing end-user and trade support in a fast-paced financial environment, along with the ability to lead technical implementations and ensure seamless operations across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, and virtual environments.
Deliver trade floor support for traders and front-office users, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid response to system or application issues.
Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain Citrix infrastructure and related components.
Configure and support virtualization technologies (VMware / Hyper-V).
Resolve incidents involving hardware, software, and network connectivity in high-pressure environments.
Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless trading system performance.
Participate in technical implementation and deployment projects across the organization.
Maintain documentation, adhere to ITIL-based service processes, and ensure SLA compliance.
Provide after-hours or on-call support as needed for critical systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
5–8 years of hands-on IT experience focusing on desktop engineering and Citrix support.
Prior trade floor / front-office support experience is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of Windows environments, networking, and virtualization.
Experience supporting financial applications (Bloomberg, Reuters, or similar) is a plus.
Proven expertise in incident resolution and technical implementation.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
