$30-$33/hr RN
* *Full-time Day & Night shift available *
* 12 hour shifts
* PRN avail (no sign on)

Job Responsibilities

As the RN/LPN, you will supervise the nursing unit and coordinate the effective use of personnel, supplies, equipment and facilities. Additional responsibilities include:
* Reviewing staffing patterns and census of nursing units; reassigning personnel when necessary to ensure residents needs and budgetary controls are met
* Managing and analyzing patient care following admission/readmission; conducting initial assessment for newly admitted or readmitted patients
* Assisting in creating and implementing care plans that address individual residents' needs
* Administering medications, IV therapy, gastronomy tube management as well as some wound care
* Monitoring residents and communicating changes to physicians
* Ensuring appropriate documentation of resident care and maintaining medical records to ensure safe, efficient and therapeutic care to residents
* Troubleshooting and investigating complaints, taking necessary action to resolve problems as necessary

Additionally, you must have:
* RN or LPN License, in good standing
* 1 year of experience as a nurse, experience in a long term care facility preferred
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to organize, prioritize and maintain confidentiality and react decisively in emergencies
* Exceptional supervisory skills, taking a proactive role to supervising and developing nursing team
* Excellent training skills, ability to provide hands-on training to nursing staff
* Good problem solving and independent thinking skills
* Case management skills, comfort with client relations
