Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Vegan Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious, nutritious vegan meals that meet dietary standards and customer expectations. Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of vegan dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Plan and develop new vegan menu items in collaboration with the culinary team
• Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety and handling regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients
• Assist with food presentation to ensure dishes are visually appealing
• Collaborate with dietary department staff to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences
• Uphold high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and safety throughout food preparation and service
• Support catering events or special functions as required, providing excellent food service

Skills

• Proven experience in dietary or culinary roles, preferably within the dietary department or food industry
• Strong knowledge of vegan cuisine, menu planning, and food preparation techniques
• Experience with fine dining or restaurant settings is a plus
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food handling and safety protocols
• Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Knowledge of catering, serving, and food presentation best practices
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and kitchen management
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment in a fast-paced setting
• Passion for healthy eating, innovative cooking, and delivering exceptional customer experiences

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 18 per week
