Master Planner

System Seals Inc. - Brecksville, Ohio Wind Division

System Seals Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Master Planner to join our growing Wind Division in Brecksville, Ohio. This is a full-time, salaried position that plays a critical role in the operational success of our factory, which specializes in the Make-to-Order (MTO) and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) production of cutting-edge sealing technology for the wind industry.

The Master Planner will be the central pivot point for production planning, balancing demand and capacity to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products. This position reports directly to the Director of Global Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

As the Master Planner, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and scheduling of our production flow, as well as essential supply chain functions:

• Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain the integrated production schedule by accurately scheduling incoming customer orders, new product introduction (NPI) parts, molds & fixture production, and prototypes.
• Capacity Planning & Work Order Management: Plan the overall plant workload, proactively balancing demand forecasts with manufacturing capacity. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining all necessary work orders within the system.
• Commercial Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between the commercial/sales team and the production plant. All order inquiries and new orders will be gated through this position for feasibility and scheduling confirmation.
• Supply Chain & Planning Analysis: Act as a supply chain and planning analyst as needed, performing root cause analysis, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements, and supporting strategic planning initiatives.
• Procurement: Oversee the purchasing of raw materials required for production, as well as essential MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operating) supplies for the factory.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience in a Master Planner, Production Planning, or Scheduling role, which have been within a manufacturing environment. Experience with MTO and ETO processes is a significant advantage.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced planning software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Production).
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
