The
Consumer Credit Card Finance
team plays a critical role as a strategic partner to the Citizens Credit Card business, delivering both high-level guidance and hands-on financial support. We are seeking a
Senior Finance Manager
to join our team—someone who will help shape the financial direction of our growing Card business while driving improvements in our tools, analyses, and processes.

This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to influence business strategy, optimize financial performance, and grow professionally within a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to enhance profitability across the credit card portfolio.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the credit card division.
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and business growth.
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on robust financial analysis.
  • Build and maintain financial models to forecast credit card balances, net interest income, and noninterest income.
  • Analyze industry trends, macroeconomic factors, and internal changes to assess potential impacts.
  • Conduct variance and attribution analyses, identify performance trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Present financial results and forecasts to business unit leaders.
  • Support ad hoc analyses and business cases to evaluate and promote growth initiatives.

Balance Sheet Support

  • Manage and enhance the budget, forecast, and strategic planning processes for credit card balance sheet and net interest income.
  • Lead the monthly close process, including estimation and communication of preliminary results.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, preferably within credit card or consumer lending.
  • Strong analytical skills and expertise in financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proven strategic thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of banking industry trends, especially related to economic and interest rate environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with financial systems such as Oracle Hyperion Essbase/Smart View.

Education & Credentials

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or a related field (required).
  • Advanced degree or professional certification preferred (e.g., MBA, CFA, CPA).

Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $145,000 to $155,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
