Role
As an Extern, you'll play an important role in supporting our Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model, which focuses on:

• Dignity & Respect: Listening to and honoring patient and family perspectives.
• Information Sharing: Communicating clearly and openly to empower patients and families.
• Participation: Encouraging involvement in care and decision-making.
• Collaboration: Working as a team to provide safe, compassionate care.

Requirements

• Must not be a current WakeMed employee
• Must be a rising senior in an accredited nursing program
• Must be listed as a North Carolina Nurse Aide I or II
• Must have a strong desire to learn

North Carolina Nurse Aide I or Nurse Aide II Required

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Experience
1 Year Clinical - Nurse Aide Preferred
