San Ysidro Ranch is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Part-Time Copywriter to support the property's weekly advertising and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to write for luxury brands and can skillfully combine elegance, clarity, and a subtle tongue-in-cheek tone that aligns with the Ranch's signature voice.

This role requires strong writing skills, consistency, and the ability to deliver polished work under tight deadlines.

• Develop weekly advertising copy across print, digital, and on-property marketing channels.
• Craft refined headlines, concise taglines, and polished long-form copy that reflect the Ranch's luxury brand identity.
• Maintain and uphold the established brand voice, incorporating a tasteful, playful edge where appropriate.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to interpret creative briefs and support campaign development.
• Produce accurate, on-brand copy with quick turnaround times.

• Ensure all messaging is consistent, professional, and aligned with the standards of a top-tier luxury hospitality property.

• 7+ years of professional copywriting experience (agency, in-house, or freelance).

• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in luxury, hospitality, lifestyle, or premium brand writing.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an emphasis on clarity, tone, and consistency.
• Ability to adapt to a defined brand voice and write for high-end audiences.
• Familiarity with digital advertising formats, social media copy, and print layouts.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Reliability, professionalism, and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment.
• Hourly Rate: $28–$38 DOE
• Part-Time: Approximately 10 hours per week
• Flexible schedule; occasional on-site collaboration in Montecito may be required.

Pay: $ $41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 18.0 per week
